State Farm turns 100 this year! Jake looks pretty good for his age

I went to check out the manatees at Blue Spring State Park with my family last weekend. There were approximately 747 manatees there, a record-breaking number. It was cool to see.

Just a little reminder from Cupid Jake that Valentine's Day is only 7 days away...

Today we celebrated National Pizza Day with locally-owned True Crafted Pizza and invited all of the offices in our building. We enjoyed the food and the company so much that we might have to do it more than once a year!

Be sure to stop by our office on Thursday, March 17, to take a St. Patrick's Day selfie with Jake & pick up a Starbucks gift card!

Hygan Kapikian from the NC Department of Insurance stopped by to celebrate the holiday with Jake and me. It was great seeing you again, Hygan!

We're celebrating 31 years of being a Good Neighbor today. I couldn't have done it without my family, my team, and, most of all, the customers I've worked with over the years. It's truly a pleasure, and I'm grateful for every one of you.

My daughter, Ashley, participating in the Neighbor Walk/Run, a virtual 5k community walk event. The Boys and Girls Club of America has been selected as the non-profit to receive donations from the community walk.

These days we can handle the majority of your insurance needs over the phone or online, but we're in the office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. if you ever want or need to stop by. We're on the 2nd floor of this building at the corner of Rea & Ballantyne Commons. Come by if we can help with anything or grab some Tom Harman State Farm goodies!

On the third day of Christmas, Jake gave to me... a visit from Clark's cousin, Eddie! Jake says not to worry, Clark - your agent, Tom Harman, was sure to discuss endorsements with you, so you're covered if you experience sewer back-up in your home like your cousin did!

On the fourth day of Christmas Jake showed to me... a group of us wearing sweaters that are ugly!

On the fifth day of Christmas Jake gave to me... stockings for all of our work family!

On the sixth day of Christmas, Jake showed to me... snowballs thrown by an elf named Buddy! Jake says he knows how confusing things below the North Pole can be, but insurance doesn't have to be one of them when you have a great agent like Tom Harman to explain!

On the seventh day of Christmas Jake said to me... Happiest of birthdays to our Shelby!

On the eighth day of Christmas, Jake said to me... Welcome to Jessica Oteka, our newest employee!

On the ninth day of Christmas, Jake brought to me... Ralphie wearing his bunny onesie! Jake says it's probably a good idea to insure your new Red Ryder under a Personal Articles Policy (and be sure to protect your eyes!)

On the tenth day of Christmas, Jake showed to me... The conductor of a train for those who believe! Jake says he believes in the magic of Christmas just like he believes everyone should discuss life insurance with the best agent around, Tom Harman!

On the eleventh day of Christmas, Jake showed to me ...sweet Cindy Lou Who decorating our tree! Jake says he's proud of Cindy for helping the Grinch & hopes she remembers to take care of herself this holiday season by ensuring her coverages are up-to-date!
